Basic Bible for Today & Life Brook Ministries
Founded by Ron Schutz, both ministries are Bible-based, non-denominational organizations dedicated to educating and supporting Christians.
Life Brook Ministries focuses on seminars and continuing education, while Basic Bible for Today supports our radio programs. Our mission is to help people understand the Word of God and apply it in their daily lives, releasing the power of God in their hearts.
Who We Are
Ron Schutz, a graduate of Zion Bible College (now Northpoint Bible College), founded
Basic Bible for Today in 2008, following a powerful encounter with God at 18. For over 40 years, Ron has taught the Bible, pastored churches, and combined his business experience with biblical teaching. His approach is practical, offering refreshing insights into applying God's Word.
Our Ministry
Ron started
Basic Bible for Today after a Sunday School class inspired him to take his teachings to the radio. Many of these programs are still available online and on air today. Ron and his wife, Betsy, lead
Life Brook Ministries from Bradenton, Florida, and offer seminars, workshops, and online support across the country. One of Ron’s specialties is
Eschatology (End Times teachings), and he also offers a “Journey Through the Old Testament” seminar to help people understand biblical stories in context.

Life Brook Publishing supports Christian self-publishers by providing resources for those looking to share their work.
